Hometown Hero

Norbert Daniels works at our Northern store in Pukatawagan, and according to his manager, does a great job. Words like thoughtful and caring and hardworking are how he is described by co-workers. We'd like to add one more well deserved word to describe Norbert. That word is HERO. Norbert was working out back of the store one day when a young man fell through the ice on the lake. Without hesitation, our hero ran towards the danger and helped the young man until band constables could arrive to assist in getting him to safety. This selfless act turned what could have been a tragic event into a happy ending and for that Norbert has earned the gratitude and the thanks of the entire community.
